Shovelhead Hardtail Service BT1600
These hardtails are not available as a weld on kit. You send or bring your frame to us and we'll install the
hardtail. This is the cleanest way to hardtail your swingarm Shovelhead frame. Instead of welding to the
back of the rear transmission mount, we replace it and plug the hardtail into the bottom rails. We can build
these in any stretch and axle height. Please specify desired stretch, desired ride height, and your rear tire
size. Desired ride height is the distance from the ground to the bottom of the frame rail. Current lead time
is approximately 4-6 weeks. US return shipping will cost between $125.00 and $165.00 because shipping
companies consider a rigid frame "oversize". Please contact us if you would like to get an accurate return
shipping quote before sending your frame to us.
Specs:
1" diameter x .120" wall seat tubes and lower tubes
3/8" thick axle plates with a 3/4" axle slot
Includes stainless steel axle adjuster bolts and two axle spacers for the adjusters to push against
100% tig welded in our frame jig
